Branding, Marketing - Account Management

Village Boutique Ecommerce clothing business.

  • She Runs It - Membership retention and acquisition initiatives.  Ongoing work with membership connections team to develop content and social media plan to increase followers and increase engagement rates among existing followers.

  • Concrete Safaris - Serve as marketing adviser to the Board of Directors, offering suggestions of ways the non-profit can tell their story to build awareness and increase donors.

  • Village Boutique, Atlanta​ - Currently developing a content and social media plan for Village Boutique, a 20+ year fashion house specializing in modern and traditional African clothing, sourced and made by women from Ghana.  Goal: to increase awareness, engagement, followers and mobilize existing customers to create user generated content.

  • Media For Social Impact Summit - Volunteered social media skills and expertise at the Media For Social Impact Summit (June 2016) at the United Nations held by the PVBLIC Foundation. Within a few hours, the tiny social media team generated over 30k impressions on Twitter alone and so many more engagements. The best part -  insightful conversations and case studies about how technology and media are being used to amplify pressing global issues and to drive social change around the world.
